Maggie Testani Therapy Intern

Maggie is from Atlanta, GA and attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree where she majored in English and Secondary Education. Throughout her summers in high school and college, she was active in working as an overnight summer camp counselor and program director at Camp High Harbour at Lake Allatoona. Once she was wrapping up her time at Clemson, she was accepted into the Teach for America program and placed to teach high school English in the southside of Chicago. After 4 years of teaching experience with adolescents, she has transitioned into a counseling program to receive her masters at Wake Forest University. Her passion in education shifted to a passion in mental health, specifically in at-risk adolescents and young adults. During her time with us this summer at Fleming Family Therapy, she will be completing her practicum experience and is excited to learn and grow as a new counselor!

When Maggie is not seeing clients or working, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, being by the lake, spending time with family and friends, researching, and working out. Maggie is ready to join you on your journey!
