I have always been interested in seeing everything from multiple perspectives, to understand why each person reacts in certain ways when situations arise, and to observe how this has an impact on their personal relationships but mostly important with themselves. I am passionate about getting to know people from different cultures, religions, races, and backgrounds. In my years of practice I have learned that, although we tend to follow patterns, we always have the opportunity to make them conscious, and also keep those that benefit us and change those that do not.
I was born and raised in Mexico City where I studied for a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a diploma in Neuropsychology, and a master’s degree in Psychological Orientation. In my years of study I had the opportunity to generate experience in different fields such as: Hospitals, prisons, foundations, schools and nursing homes. I work with an integrative approach and this has allowed me to understand that each person is different and that as a psychotherapist you have to adapt the therapy according to each client’s needs. I aim to guide people to reach their fullest potential and fulfillment by listening and guiding them to understand who they are and who they want to become.
Besides psychology, my other passion is traveling. Alone or with a companion, I always look for an excuse to get to know new places and people. I like to read, try different restaurants, spend time with the people I love and exercise. I believe that even though our past can define us, we can always learn from it and become our best self. I am convinced that we have to keep in constant growth and even though this can be challenging it’s always worth it.
